Eastern Samar qualifiers for PSHS 2017

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Philippine Science High School System (PSHSS) announces the names of the successful qualifiers to the PSHSS Search for Scholars for 2017. Of the 25,405 applicants, 1,340 examinees or 5.27% successfully hurdled the one-step screening administered on 22 October 2016. The complete list of successful examinees can be found at www.pshs.edu.ph. For the province of Eastern Samar, the following are the qualifiers:
  • 1. AFABLE, Lance Kaizzer Henrikson B. Maydolong Central Elem. Sch. Eastern Visayas Campus
  • 2. CAPADA, Joshua Christopher P. Eugenio S. Daza Pilot Elem. Sch. Main / Eastern Visayas Campus
  • 3. DULFO, Brenz Gabriel P. Eugenio S. Daza Pilot Elem. Sch. Eastern Visayas Campus
  • 4. GARADO, Claire Antoinette L. Immaculate Conception School Eastern Visayas Campus
  • 5. NAPUTO, Francine Claire A. Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart Eastern Visayas Campus
  • 6. PICARDAL, Adrian H. Balangiga Central Elem. Sch. Eastern Visayas Campus
The qualifiers are advised to visit or contact the Registrar or the Campus Director of the PSHS Campus where they are qualified to enroll, or visit the PSHS website for more information on early enrolment. Deadline for slot confirmation of qualifiers is on February 17, 2017 for Main Campus qualifiers, and on February 24, 2017 for regional campus qualifiers. Specific schedule of other enrolment activities shall be announced by the respective campuses.

As benefits, the PSHS scholars will receive monthly stipend, free tuition, textbooks and allowances for uniform and transportation expenses.

The PSHS is one of the attached agencies of the DOST contributing to the expansion and development of the country’s scientific and technological manpower. PSHS uses special high school curriculum based on science, mathematics and technology which significantly prepares the students in future careers in Science and Technology. It has sixteen (16) campuses nationwide, one of which is located in Palo, Leyte.
